Hi, we’re Junes

A pre-primary school in Westville, Durban

ABOUT
OUR MISSION

2018 brings our 50th anniversary of nourishing little minds, great facilities, activities and homegrown fun. Schooling, after-care and holiday club are our speciality. We are a home away from home school and our priority is to make the children feel loved, secure and accepted for who they are.

We believe in the holistic development of our children and therefore use carefully planned activities to help the children to: think, listen, be creative, develop - physically and emotionally, and above all, to be full of the joys of life!

CLASSES

Our pre-primary school program has four dedicated classes, designed to stimulate the mental and physical growth of children through play.

what parents say

We have had the pleasure of being associated with Junes Pre-primary in Westville for the past 5 years. We are proud of the speed at which our children have developed. The level of professionalism coupled with competence, care and interest by all staff, is amazing. Most fundamentally, children that come from Junes Pre-primary enjoy a natural fit into the any Primary school. I would recommend Junes Pre-primary to any parent. They are the best in Westville!!!!!!!!

We have been a part of the June’s family for over 7 years now and couldn’t have chosen a better school for our children. All the staff seem hand-picked and they all offer exceptional care. They attend to the children as if they are their own. Through the constraints of our work, we have had to leave our babies there from a very young age and never have we had a concern regarding their safety. The teachers are highly skilled, professional and offer a stimulating and exciting environment to encourage learning at each child’s pace. My children are always excited to share a new story about what the day had to offer. There’s a tangible demonstration of where money raised is used to enhance appearance of the school. The buildings and grounds are well maintained and offer a safe playing and learning environment. Parents are always involved and family events and participation are encouraged. We highly recommend Junes Pre-Primary School to any new parent living in the Westville area.

25 years after I left this school, my two kids were enrolled. It was a great school when I attended but the facilities and more importantly the staff that they have now, just make it so much more special. Our kids come to school happy and they leave happy. The love and support that the staff show our kids is what any parent would want for their children. Well done Sharon and all your amazing staff. I wish we could stay here forever but that would be quite selfish.

Both my girls have been at Junes for 4 years now, and what and amazing 4 years it has been. Junes provides the best foundation for our kids at this very crucial stage of their little lives, so we could have not chosen a better school. Couldn’t ask for better teachers, caregivers or principle. I hold each of them close to my heart. It takes very special people to handle kids of this age and they do it so well. It’s the most comforting part of my day, knowing my kids are happy, loved and safe. I am proud to say that our 3rd little girl will be joining Junes next year.
